hormonal mamma tears

Photobucket

Pregnancy..... brady and i have spent many moments laying on the bed talking about our baby boy.  or in some cases my hormonal mommy tears are streaming down my face while talking about the changes mentally and physically that are happening to my mind and body, and sometimes i just look at brady and feel so bad that i am being so moody and such a baby but warning to all mothers to be, make sure your husband is amazing.... i couldn't do this without mine, there are times when just looking at brady i bust into extreme tears i mean convulsing tears and he just hurry and runs over to me, its usually because i was bothered by somebody earlier that day or i am hungry and then at times i cry harder because i hate that i am crying in the first place and you finish the fit off with laughing cries together. And i just silently curse brady and think you don't have to change a bit, not a single thing and this little guy is still half yours, how is that possible (but he does have to deal with emotional mamma over here, bless him).  And other days i am a bit selfish and think guys are missing out on experiencing this beautiful thing, growing another human being, did you catch that? another. human. being. its completely crazy if you think about it, when i feel his sweet kicks and sometimes i get shivers because there is something inside of me.  but all in all this little babe has brought brady and i even more close and more united.... half way there until this mamma gets to hold our boy excited is a major understatement.

baby alligators and dog washes.

Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket

last night was quite the adventure, we ran outside when we heard mom scream because she thought there were baby alligators in our pond.... after 30 minutes of sitting on rocks and using crackers as bait brady finally caught one and we found out it was a tadpole, an extremely large tadpole! so turns out we will be having lots of fat frogs in our pond this summer! milo decided to take a dip and smelled horrible!!!! so he ended the night with a nice bath.

BLOG UPDATE:
Brady being the smart one that he is found out that they are tiger salamanders!!!! we all thought they were quite too big to be a tadpole, so there you have it, we will be spending our summer with salamanders this year.

We celebrated our two year anniversary over here on Sunday, we ate italian food (pesto pizza of course) followed by avengers.... best movie ever! brady and i are a little bit in love with all of those movies so we have been waiting years, literally and it lived up to every expectation boo ya! i love being married to a man who wakes up at 6:30 sunday morning to surprise me with a healthy breakfast in bed he knows me all too well and we also got to talk to my sweet little brother in ireland oh i loved it.

Of course we celebrated mothers day.... well i'm not gonna lie we did last year because lets not forget about that gigantic bear up there, yes I am his mamma and I love him immensely! But this year was extra exciting because of our 20 week old (half way there!!!!) boy on the way who let me add has been kicking up a storm for us these past couple of days letting us know he is there, my heart melts every single time. I love him like crazy already.

I'm am so lucky to have two wonderful moms, be a mom to my milo and a future mom to my little one, and especially a wife to my more than amazing husband.  This weekend was full of appreciation and love.

spring photo shoot with a bear and a husband.

Yesterday was one. of. those. days. All I wanted to do was get home from work and hang out with the boys in my life.  Surely enough I was greeted at my car door with a big sloppy kiss from our bear and a much needed embracing hug from brady who just KNEW i was having that kind of day.  It was a beautiful warm evening perfect for basking in the sun along with picture taking, we finished it off with pizza at Nicolitalia Pizzeria which was exactly what this fast growing 18 week baby boy needed! You can eat anything when you are pregnant right??? right....

over the weekend.

Over the weekend the whole family headed to St. George to meet Cal and Lauren for Cal's birthday.  We don't get to see them NEARLY as much as we want to, but the times that we do we sure appreciate it and soak up every single moment.  The weather was perfect, sun bathing, tennis, running, playing at the park, eating good food and playing board games while laughing harder than you can imagine were all apart of this extravaganza. We have the best family..... can't wait for our next family trip to San Diego in June!
